Индианские цветы – это такой специфический растительный орнамент французского текстиля, а потом и фарфора.  И популярен был в моём любимом Провансе. Но не могу найти вразумительных определений, тем более описаний. sad

SOULEIADO SUMMER First printed in the south of France in the mid-seventeenth century, Souleiado fabrics represent the spirit of Provence. Today designers revisit this tradition: with sunny colors and lively detail, these old indienne prints capture the essence of summer, as well the romanticism of this bohemian province:

Начиная с 17 века индийские темы с экзотическими птицами и символическими растениями, проникают во французское текстильное производство .Мотивы с экзотической флорой , изображения манго, граната, пионов, индийских огурцов и тп , – пришлись особенно по душе жителям Южной Франции. Постепенно они смешались с мотивами полевых цветов, цветов Арля ( маки), создав неповторимый почерк прованского текстиля. Много образцов в Музее дома Souleiado в Тарасконе, который  знакомит не только с историей производства, но и историей костюма, работами дизайнеров начала века, богатой экспозицией тканей.Ещё в Метрополитен музее и в музее Виктории и Альберта.

Cream silk sack-back and petticoat made from a mantua from the late 1730s. The fabric is embroidered with polychrome silks and gold thread in floral and gothic motifs, including architectural buildings and structures. Large peonies sprout from the roof of a ruined abbey flanked by pine trees, dominating a landscape set with three different cottages, cedar trees replete with cones, a Chinoiserie fence, and a pavilion with a flag flying, alternating with a giant flowering creeper:
